Robust,
High-Speed Network
BestWeb maintains three major network centers, located
in New York City, White Plains, and Poughkeepsie. These
centers are connected to both the Internet backbone
and to each other through high-speed fiber connections,
creating a robust, fault tolerant network. Seven additional
centers round out BestWeb’s network infrastructure.
BestWeb's monitoring and support includes detection
of problems within two minutes, troubleshooting problems
within six minutes, dispatching a network technician,
if necessary, to a customer location within two hours,
and replacing faulty hardware within four hours.
CLEC Advantage
BestWeb is a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC).
Being a CLEC allows BestWeb to maintain a much higher
level of control and reliability over the data circuits
that we provide to customers. This results in faster
initial installation, faster diagnosis of problems,
and faster repair time.
24 x 7 Monitoring and Technical Support
BestWeb maintains a Network Operations Center (NOC)
at our Croton-on-Hudson office that is staffed twenty-four
hours a day, every day of the year. Fully qualified
technical support representatives are always available
to personally assist customers. All backbone connections,
interconnection circuits, and customer circuits are
monitored at all times.
Dedicated Network Technicians
BestWeb maintains a staff of fully equipped and trained
Network Technicians who work in the field on both our
network and yours. This group is available twenty-four
hours a day, seven days a week for installations, service,
and repair.
E-Rate Program Provider
Established as part of the Telecommunications Act of
1996, the E-Rate Program provides discounts to assist
schools and libraries in obtaining telecommunications
and Internet access. Services eligible for E-Rate discounts
include Internet access, data circuit connections, internal
connections and wide area network services. BestWeb
is a current provider in the E-Rate Program (SPIN number
1430005118) and can assist you in this area.
Registered Hospitality Services Supplier
BestWeb is a registered vendor of Internet and networking
solutions with some of the largest hotel and motel chains
in the country.
